This is not the case on the other realms so most likely no, it will ruin the economy and they know it but you can buy in game gold on the trade market wich is gold sold by other player of the server. I have no idea if the trade market will be available at launch but it's most likely that the price will be very high in the first weeks of the server.
On the store you can buy things like mounts, pets, bags, weaps and armors atm on the other servers, so most likely the same when it will be open (stated as not at launch on the annoucement post).
You can buy boe items and then sell them for gold
