I was having the same issue. Are you using AVG anti-virus?
I tried disabling the firewall before trying to login and it worked fine. It's working now I put an exception in my firewall.
ihm playing on macOS not on windows ^^ I don´t need live-scanner :> my firewall is active and WoW is listet in the allowed programs

i got the same issue and dont know what to do...any help? disabling firewall didnt change a thing-.-
