dc then unable to connect

I recently got dc'd while in the que for Outland, and when trying to reconnect my game suddenly hangs on "logging in to game server". Sometimes it stays there indefinitely sometimes the server list reappears. This is the third time this has happened to me each on a different server and each time I had no choice but to abandon it. I called my ISP and they said they block no ports and nothing they are doing could be causing it. It really sucked having to abandon my friends on Elysium when it happened the first time and I don't want to do it again on Outland.

I've tried deleting folders
pinging logon.warmane.com shows avg 200ms
I've cleared my DNS cache
ISP doesn't even

Maybe the server still thinks i'm logged in somehow? On both Elysium and Outland it happened following a dc, I've been unable to connect to any WotLK servers from the beginning.
