New server, Option to start from 58

I will start by saying many people who came to play on outland are completely new to the warmane community and many of us (myself included) know little about the differences in your servers, many also do not even visit the forums, so while we knew it was said you would look into a new server if demand was there, i am sure many did not know what that meant.

as for Medivh the new server i like:

the harder end game
limited cash shop
and even 1x XP

what i do not like is the fact it will be starting from level 1, as many of us play TBC for the harder hc dungeons, raids and pvp.

we have also levelled to 70 on outland and started to farm up, before if was announced the new realm would contain harder pve content, and the idea of going 1-70 again with even lower xp is putting me and many others i have spoken too off wanting to roll.

my suggestion would be to have an npc at spawn to allow people who wish to, to level instantly to 58 and get some starter gear and then level 1x XP through outland (aka the TBC content) and not have to basically level through vanilla again.

while i appreciate many of us chose to level on outland and we were not forced, we did not know the details of your new server and its harder content and limited cash shop when we chose to level on outland.

TL:DR allow us the option to start at 58 and experience the TBC content with 1x XP and all your other server suggestions without having to go through 1-58 vanilla content again even slower than we just did it on outland.

if anything is worded in a way that is against the rules, tell me and i will amend it.

The server details are already decided, it won't be changed to instant 58.

to clarify as i feel there has been a small confusion, i meant new to the warmane community not to TBC in general, although i am sure there are some who are new to it all, many people came here from other TBC servers where they werent happy as the population was dying, or scripting was not great etc, personally i have levelled including retail and private servers 10+ chars to max on TBC servers, and i am sure many others have too.

and for those who are new to TBC, i am not suggesting outland should be faster xp, just that we can start from 58 at the end of vanilla content and not at 1 again.

1-58 is not TBC and is no different from any vanilla server with small exceptions.

i mean you could allow dranei and belf to start from 1 like it was on retail, but at tbc launch 90% of the community already had a char at 60 waiting to go to outland and i do not know many people who roll a TBC server to play the 1-58 portion over and over.

so many servers failed to deliver on scripting, population, and other factors, which is why so many private server and TBC fans just around from server to server hoping to find one with hard pve, good scripting, good non buggy pvp and that can see through the entire expansion in a progressive manner. constantly levelling 1-58 just to get outland, and then 58-70, rep farm, flying mount, professions, kara attune and t4 just to watch the server die and then have to start over and over is a situation i am sure the majority of people playing here have experienced multiple times.

while i am only one voice and i certainly do not speak for everyone, i believe this to be true. and i believe the new server would be far better in the short and long term allowing chars to jump to 58 as starting from 1 taking into account all other factors will just turn too many people away.
