I would like to know if faction changing to Alliance allows you to choose your gender and looks similar to retail? Or does it just give you the same gender as you were on horde, and random appearance traits? I would like to transfer myself but only if I can customize like I did originally on Horde. Any info is appreciated!
You must select a character that is on your account that is of the opposing faction and compatible with your class.
The reason for this is there is no recustomization in TBC, so we want players to make a character of the opposing faction, for race and appearence, then select that character from the dropdown.
We're working on a model viewer system to handle it all via the website, however model viewing in webgl for TBC is a bit tricky, so no ETA.
