Guidance required
Dear forum users,
I have been banned due to Staff Impersonation. I know this is a very serious offense...now. I did not know before I was banned.
Let me clarify: As I was playing a guildmember was being scammed, I whispered to the offender. I whispered that I was a GM. He laughed and kept the items and said he would report me for staff impersonation. At that moment I realize if that would be true, I would be quitte screwed.
I read that alot of cases like this end up in permanent bans. I was terrified. 2 days later I was banned.
The thing is, the moment I said I was a GM to the other player, I meant it as teasing, not an imminent threat of scamming him back, since I didn't quitte know what actually happened between him and my guildmember, so I approached him in my eyes as a little shocking and maybe he would immediately tell me the truth.
I know now that this was not what I should have done and something I will never do again if I were to be playing again.
I apologize for this and now know the very bad consequences for this.
Could someone shed some light on anything there is I can do except for creating a Ban Appeal(which has been for already 5 days now..). I have spent alot of time on my account and I am very sad and ashamed.
Dear regards,
Jimmy

I think you're SOL buddy. Having known the possible outcome, you should have reported the guy for scamming and reached out to a GM. A real one. You can try and email [email protected] but they are likely going to refer you to the ban appeal page, which obviously won't get you any further.

Thanks for your reply, I will email Warmane with my story. What does SOL mean?
