Mining Guide?

I'm currently trying to mine tin to progress my professions, and I can hardly find any nodes. ( I'm Horde ) I've gone through all of Thousand Needles, Barrens, Shimmering Flats, pretty much everywhere TBC mining guides have said to go, and found a total of 2 nodes in the last hour. Am I checking in the right areas, are the guides I'm reading just wrong, or not tuned for 2.4.3 mining? Anyone have a solid TBC mining guide, or is it just supposed to be like this? Any ideas, thank you!

It is for the Lich King patch although should work in TBC.

I am currently levelling Mining for Cooper ore and Tin ore, I farm in the Barrens.

don't follow a guide. 10k others are doing the same one. Go off into BFE. I leveled tin in stonetalon mts
