The price of sitting in the que VS one time premium donating.
Being cost effective is what matters to me, ingame and in real life, so i thought to write this down.
Let's compare the cost of letting your computer run while in the que VS the one time donation of 10 euro to skip said que.
At a certain point your computer will have used a certain amount of kilowatt hours of energy worth the amount to get a premium account.
Let's calculate exactly when that is.
I've read some threads and people claim they sit in the que for almost half a day, let's be generous and say : 12 hours in que a day
Now let's look at the average kw/h price average in europe (where most warmane players live).
http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statist..._kWh)_YB16.png
An average cost of 21 eurocent/kw H on a computer sitting in que and probably doing other things.
This computer uses in this case probably 250 watt/hour+ 75 watt monitor/audio.
So at 325watt/hour X 12 hours a day at a rate of 21 eurocent/kwh it would have costed you 0,82 euro/day.
Which means it would take you 12,1 days sitting in the que before you wasted the worth of one premium donation amount and skip que forever!
Adjust values for your country, hours of sitting in the que and computer setup wattage usage to know your case. :)
