Mining Node Decline
I have a sneaking suspicion that the amount of nodes spawned has actually been nerfed recently.
I've just done 3 Un'goro circuits and not found a single ore - Badlands literally has no mithril *Which is definitely not the same as TBC because I made youtube guide back in the day on collecting mithril* - Arathi literally just has Tin and the occasional gold. - Hinterlands has 0 nodes from 2 circuits.
Have I just been unlucky or has there been a nerf? This wasn't the case just a week ago.

There are plenty other posts about this

Yes - but this thread is asking whether it has been reduced on the sly? Because literally a week ago I could farm for my needs - Yes it took a while.
past 3-4 days it has been a shambles and there is no way I can farm as much as I need.

I will also say - I never see the two nodes on-top of each other error anymore. Its like they hotfixed twice the amount they should of.

Pretty sure they did some type of nerf on the nodes. Bout 5 days ago you could go around thousand needles (or any zone, thousand needles is just an easy example) and find a node of any type within about a minute or so. Now you can go full circuits and find 1-2 nodes at best usually. Over-farming is definitely a factor, but not to the extent to where you can sit and wait for a single node to spawn and it takes 30+ mins.
I suppose this makes prices on the AH more competitive, but it also makes it a pain in the *** to level blacksmithing. I think it would also promote boting as its not too rewarding to spend an hour farming just to get like a stack of ore
