Battleground queue times on Alliance and Horde

Dear all players

I am new to the server from Molten and I enjoy the big population, however to my surprise is the waiting times on BG queues.
I am alliance and I enjoy the BG, especially AV.

However each BG takes about 5 mins queue time and there are not much AV's....

Please let me know your experience on BG and tips on faster queue times and tips on getting into AV.

Wait, you actually enjoy AVs? The clown fiesta where alliance people run to the horde base, and the horde people run to the alliance base? Where people take towers and AFK in them, or just run away instead of defending? Where people graveyard AFK in general? Where people AFK in said base once they reach it?

The above is far more baffling to me than your 5 min queue time. AV takes 80 people in total, no **** there'll be a minor queue. Try queuing DPS for a random dungeon HC, or even a normal dungeon, that'll teach you what queues are.
