Was just wondering as it really isn't stated exactly what gear you are in, is it at least high enough to let you queue for hc dungeons? Thinking of starting a new character and have some coins laying around.

Buying instant lv 80 from website simply .....makes it level 80. No gear whatsoever is provided, you'll find your character as you left it, except for its level and of course talent points. If memory serves you also get some gold (around 4-5k). That's all you get.
I stand corrected - you get some greens as well
It was changed recently. It gives some green gear.
