Old Player Returning - Questions!

Hi All,

Oldie from the ancient days returning...when Warmane first started and we were given coins (due to losing all our old characters in the dispute between the private server owners) I created characters on the new Warmane account and used up those gifted coins for some awesome items.

Since then I haven't been playing for 2 years and have now just decided to come and play for some fun. However, upon logging in I couldn't find any of my characters anymore, although my account history still shows my item purchase history.

Anybody know how to fix this issue? Would appreciate some help to getting back in the game again!

[Just a quick update]

Upon further digging in my account history, I found that the realm I created my character on was Ragnaros. But it seems like this realm does not exist anymore? Anyone able to shed some light on this?

And I'm assuming this means that the realm was deleted - Is there any way for me to get my character and items back? I might not have it in me to farm/purchase another character as I don't have the time irl and might just quit the game :'(

2 servers were combined to form Icecrown, I think the characters had to make the transfer via website, maybe you didn't do it and they erased those inactive chararacters,not sure If im right, but I did the same, I create the characters after the wipe, bought items with coins and I came back 2 years later, but I still had my characters

Yes, the original WotLK realms, Ragnaros and Deathwing have been merged into Icecrown. Players had about 1 year time to transfer their characters. Those characters are gone, but perhaps if you contact warmane via email they might help you at least recover the coins from the log.
