Transmogrification question

Hello, i got lil questions aboth Transmogrification and how it works.

Firstly - If item is already transmoged do i need to use "Scroll of Purification" first? Or can i apply other transmog on it? Without resetting the look? ..old transmog.
(Transmog on Transmog)
Second - can i transmog white items?

Cloth <> Cloth
Leather <> Leather
Mail <> Mail
Plate <> Plate
Only Right?

yes, cloth to cloth. Leather to Leather etc...

Sadly don't have any scrolls, that's why i'm asking. Otherwise would simply try my self.

You can indeed override the 1st transmog without purification. You simply apply a new transmog as if it's the first time you do it.

Is it really truth? Ingame people said you need to get orginal look first.. :S

Perhaps they changed it recently, but I personally did it a few times. It was a couple weeks back though.

Edit: In the end why not try it, if it's a transmog you want you'll end up using a scroll for it anyway, the essence doesn't go anywhere if not used.
