Extremely Toxic Exprience

Hello Im pretty new to wow and I got my first level 80 character which is a combat rogue. While trying to learn about gear, emblems of whatever, and heroics my progress has been pretty slow mainly due to people being overall annoying people in heroics and people being jerks because my gs is too low or my lack of knowledge of the game. I was wondering if this is just the game or a server thing. I expected this server to kinda be for newer players since the x7 exp. I was thinking about going to another server like outland but i wanted to play in icecrown because its the 2nd most popular server and wotlk story is interesting.

Its the game not the server don't worry

You just have to find your place in this game and enjoy it :)

Ingnor the toxic people and find some friends to play with. The game is boring if you play it alone .

As for your class since you are a new player, I suggest you play something more Easy, like a Warrior/Paladin

Why every green player thinks he shall be carried and welcomed in every party ?
The last i want in this game is to carry random low gs newbie with zero game knowledge.

Why are you queing for RDF in the first place? Since you outgear the contend why rerolling it over and over? Is it because you can feel pro by pulling most dps in your group? To flame people with less gear?

Do you think your GS makes you skilled?
- 90% of waremane com cant pull more than 50% of the dps they should do with their gs.
- while 90% are unable to do so, nearly every class "rota" can be put in one or two macros, pulling 80% dps

WoW PvE is ****ing easy and on icecrown where everyone is outgeared, with 30% ezpz buff, PvE gets braindead easy.

Better dont feel skilled while you cant pull numbers that others can do with a single button...

You know the more people you have the higher the chances that you run into unpleasant/rude/dumb/so on players . A high rate server is not really for new players because you do not really have the time to learn, since you progress so fast. High rate servers are wanted usually by players who have leveled over and over and over again and just want to get to the end game stuff, be it pve or pvp. So yea, you'll run into a lot of "pros" that have no patience or understanding of the fact that some people can be new to a game as old as wow.

Also, because people have no patience they ask for 5 k gs for heroics just so they can finish it in 10 mins and be over with it-take Hansenn from above, he seems to share that mentality-. Again, high rate means lots of people-outland and icecrown are prime examples-, it's quantity, not quality. So expect lots of trolls and bad mouthed players, much like in real life really.

You can be 6.4 gs but still in need of EOF, so you are bound to green noobs when you que RDF.
Problem is not these green nobs themselves but their game attitude - they are not prepared, they perform ****, their game knowledge is ****. Most of em do not have reagents for buff and do not buff at all.
Most of them have brainded spec and gems (even lowbie ones), they do not want minmax still get offended every time some1 points this out.

Not having 5man encounters knowledge in the INTERNET AGE is a crap excuse, speaks about player a lot - garbage who does not want to not be garbage for team mates , however wants to be carried to the shiny future.

If you do not like current Icecrown community, you can travel to roleplaying realm named Lordaeron and play there - due to low online this realm is more like solo RPG than MMORGP, so you won't meet much toxic players there. You wont meet much players there in general.

Worst thing on warmane and everything that is wrong with it starts with people like you. Why not to help others? Why every man in rdf need to be 6k+? I would like if you and people like you would leave this and we get all new players. People like you would not help someone in need in real life also,you would probly think hey he didnt have knowledge to get money or to get out of war with both legs,or to drive car and not to get hit by other car... you would just pass by man in need. Its that all you see are people like Hansenn. It is due to server toxicity game as game is not so bad. Finding guild for start is good solution. There are many guilds that dont care about gs they are out for fun. People just forget that games are for fun,its not like work,like hey omg i hate it but i need 2 eof and now i need to find more people 6,4 gs to do it as fast as i can. One thing if you dont like it,if you feel like obligation,than its time to stop playing it. I dont care when i see low gs in dungeon. But do hate it when i see 2k gs in battleground,they set minimum gs req for rdfhc but not for rbg. Like someone mentioned try another class,rogue not easy for starting. Also google there are many guides how to gear up,gems enchants,...

Dude...is a game, you really have self esteem issues irl right? you make wow seem like such a complex stuff only pro players like you could grasp...jesus, it's all about playing a bit more than others. On Icecrown you get 80 in what? 1 day play time? Stop being such a dick, no one is impressed you have 6k or whatever gs on a server everyone has it because it's not that hard to get in the first place. And yes, green items noobs join Hcs because maybe they want to gear up somehow and learn the game. Oh and btw Lordaeron hater:) I gueess raids were too hard for you there huh? Rest assured, the biggest pro of Lordaeron is chasing people like you away. MMO RPG means you talk to people, not only see a lot of people, those might as well be NPCs.

Since you mentioned 6.4k gs, I'll just go ahead and assume that's the gear of your character. Especially if you were dps, as 6.4k you should be able to clear any heroic dungeon within 10 minutes by yourself with the other 2 dps being completely naked. If you don't, then it's not the problem in the lowbies not "minmaxing", you're simply bad at the game. Also the purpose of heroic dungeons is more for fresh 80s to get some starter gear rather than for you to farm your 2 daily emblems, therefore you're just gonna have to accept the fact that you will most probably be matched with low geared players who potentially know nothing about the game. Have a problem with it? Find friends/guild who will be willing to run an all 6k+ hc rdf every day for the 5min clears.

If a player can actually queue via RDF for a heroic, I don't care. This game has requirement to be able to queue there, so why cry when somebody passes that requirement?

People has to start somewhere.

Seems you were lucky to be born with all the knowledge ready in your brain.
