Do people really do them ? Seems like a loss of time. You could just rush to level 80 and then start doing dungeons for stuff that matter at max level. What's your opinions ?

They do give great XP (dungeon quests) and blues at lower levels as well. They are relevant on a 1x rates server.
No bro. Dungeons is a better way of levelling till level 60ish. After 60ish it's better to do quests
on a 1x server they may be worth it, on 7x they're meh. generally faster to quest than it is to find a group.
On the 7x is good to queue till like lvl 40 or a little more since you can get a lot of lvls from one instance. After that the xp gained from instances is too low and the instances too long so questing is way better.
