That name is unavailable issue

I just deleted one of my previously saved names on a character level 1 and wanted to use it now for different character and after I deleted my character I created a new one with that name and it gives me the "That name is unavailable" pop-up even tho I just deleted the character with that name????? Can someone explain this?

use rename function or wait for a server reset

Really???? That should be the solution for wanting to change a visual on the character or simply change class if u created something wrong???

can't snag it for 20 sec and it's a rather "unique" name
