What's the difference between Lordaeron and Icecrown?

Hello, I was wondering which realm to choose. Can you give me some about these realms?

In short.
Lordaeron is more hardcore version. No donations, nor point shop. Rates are x1. Raid difficulty is harder(?) than it was back in WotLK.
Icecrown comes with higher leveling/gold/profession rates. Shops are open. Normal raid difficulty.
