You are either badly geared/wrong spec (no SL) or you are worse then the other players.
Im a shadowpriest so I do not have it better then you... but once you get gear you will progressively see differences in your survivability. Oh, and playing the right spec helps too.
Dont worry it will be rough now but later you will laugh at everyone. =)
