Wotlk client have reset video+sound settings on each startup on Windows

I play on both Mac and Windows. On Mac, everything works fine with the client but on my Windows machine I always get to see the cinematics, the resolution is always weird and sound always activated at startup. I change them to correct resolution and deactivate sound etc and it works fine, but next time I open the client I get same behaviour. This issue feels a little familiar and I think I had it before but can't find a solution. Anyone experienced same and got a solution?

Follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC ( this is important in your case)
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only".
