Connection issue

I had frozen and restarted my computer and when I logged back into my computer and tried to open WoW it keeps telling me I need to link it to battlenet.com or it just keeps saying connecting and doesn't let me past the connecting process... it either crashes or tells me there's a problem reading a file. I've done the read only selection. I've redone the realmlist file I've tried everything I know how to do and it's still not working properly. I would very much appreciate a response to this dilema
