Battered Hilt Questline not working

I'm stuck on "The Purification of Quel'Delar" in the battered hilt questline, where you throw QD into the sunwell. I put QD into the sunwell, but now I am unable to take it back out. The item is there on the ground, and I can click on it to loot, but when I do it neither adds it back to my inventory or completes the quest.

If it bugs you can abandon the quest and retake it.

I do that few times but every time bugged, cant loot
