I got perma banned for telling a guy spamming world chat to stfu?

On the Outland server, a guy is spamming Global chat asking about why some account got banned, so I say nothing more than "shut the **** up".

Seconds later, my account is permanently banned:

"Your account has been terminated due to Advertising"

Are you serious?

EDIT: Okay, my account is no longer banned. I would delete this post but I don't seem to know how.

Apparently Warmane has AI monitoring in game chat for gold spam. Looks like it hit a snag of some sort and banned a bunch of players. Lol

that was the only thing i could think of because my account was clean.
