Hello,
I had some questions in regards to the Authenticator. I was recently just hacked over the week and lost all my gold/gear/bags/etc.
I have just placed an authenticator on my account, however, I do not receive an in-game prompt when it is selected for in-game protection in the Security Settings? Is this normal? If so how does this keep hackers from accessing the account in-game?
maybe it does not ask for a Code in-game because it is the same IP which just successfully logged on website with a Code
That is definitely a possibility, confirmation from a GM would alleviate my worries though as I don't want to either get into another scenario a could be banned (assuming hacker was botting) and lose all my possessions on my toons again.
do you have dynamics ip? check your current IP > turn off your router for 1 min > check again your IP.
If the ip is different try to log in in-game
