Account banned for advertising - Never advertised

Hello,

About a month ago I was a frequent player on the server. I had recently downloaded a new game to play and had taken a brief hiatus from playing on the warmane servers.

Upon logging in I was told that my account had been banned for advertising. I am unaware and there has been no evidence provided against me via my linked email about this offense.

The only advertising that I can think of that this account had done was within the server rules of character trading which is a legal function via the unique trade function this organization provides.

Not to pull the donor card but my account has well over $1500 USD donated and I would really hate to see that all the money I have invested into the game and server will all go to waste.

Is there an appeals process in where I can have my account restored or unlocked from this ban. This would be a devastating blow to myself having the knowledge that I cannot be helped and that you just banned me for an offense that I did not commit.

Hello and sad to hear of it, but yes there is something you can do about it. You can either make support ticket via website My account>Support>Create ticket or send email to [email protected] and explain situation there and your account will be back to normal.

Happened to me once, I was advertising selling my character through warmane website on trade to which some douchebag whispered me with a question ''are you selling X character?'' i replied with ''yes''. He never whispered me after this, few hours later i was banned for character trading even tho my /2 macro had @website included in it. Guy screenshoted only the whisper, not my original macro i was spamming on /2 and then reported me with this out of context whisper screenshot. However once i got banned staff realized the mistake within 5 minutes they already unbanned me i legit didnt even manage to make a website ticket before they already removed ban. So as long as you didn't do anything wrong they will help you out surely.
