I'm a Medivh player and it would be great if Warmane administration consider Old-school blizzlike player needs :)
It would be great to create a command, that could toggle x5 exp rates to x1 and back ;)
Its a very easy thing to do and people could choose how they wanna play.
Hopefully administration reconsider and will make Warmane more enjoyable then it is now ^_^
Generally speaking, a variable-rate experience realm would detract from the play of x1 "purist" players. It is not merely that they love leveling at original retail paces, but that they enjoy playing the game as it was in its original state. "Questing Slowly" is only a portion of what many Medivh players were going for, and developing the game to include this is probably not worth the time for the size of population that merely wants to level at a slow pace.
If you wish to stay at level and experience certain zones in their full glory without out-pacing and trivializing them, you do have the option on this site to experience-lock your character. I might suggest turning that on at an appropriate level to finish questing out a zone.
