Came back after 2 years - got some questions

Hey guys,

I played here roughly two yeas ago, mostly PvE endgame content (ToTnm) in the guild Imperium.
Now I got some questions about my main class, arcane mage:

1) Is mage still viable for PvE?

2) How about arcane mages compared to the other two specs

3) Has Rune of Power been fixed in the meantime?!

4) Back in the days, 7% spell hit was enough to never miss a boss, but when I checked some casters in the amory all of them got about 15% no(how it is supposed to be anyway). So did this got fixed?

Yea mages are viable in PvE for lower gear i recommend going frost since is less gear depended then other 2 specs , for high end gear Arcane can be good on some fight but lacks overall DMG , Fire on the other hand is doing best out of all 3 specs with high end gear , and yes Rune of Power is fixed but as you know it only good for arcane mage.

My rankings for 3 specs from top to bottom.

1.Fire
2.Frost
3.Arcane

Keep in mind skill factor and gear will always play a crucial role.
