Mounts from the store

I am wondering about the mounts purchased from the store with coins. Do you not need riding training to use these? I saw a lvl 21 in-game [Lordaeron] running around with a mount. So can low levels purchase/use just the regular mounts, or can they use epic mounts too? The reason I ask is because I'm also a low level (lvl 19) and I'd like to buy a mount with coins, but I can't find any info on whether I'm limited to the slower ones or whether I can use epics too, without any riding training.
Obviously I can't use a mount that requires Northrend since I have no business being there yet.

Edit: I didn't realize you could train and acquire your first mount at lvl 20. I thought it was lvl 35 or 45 for some reason.
This pretty much answers any questions I had. This thread can/should be ignored now.
