Hello Dear Kind Team, I moved to newly moved to Germany to study university, the problem that I have I feel like playing wotlk again but here in Germany I hear that many people get a really high tickets for downloading torrents and illegal files over the internet, so Is there some kinda way that I can safely download the client without any law trouble ?
i don't want to use any paid service to hide my ip or identity.

Downloading a copy of WoW is not against the law. The WoW client has always been free. It is the online retail service that is what you would normally pay for. Torrents are usually flagged by ISP's because of what they -usually- contain (pirated programs and such things), but this isn't always the case. I don't know about Germany's laws, but in the United States, it is against the law for an ISP to look and see the contents of your internet data without your consent.

Someone associated with Blizzard has been monitoring the torrent. It's not ISPs that monitor it.

I think there was a thread about Germany also but I can't find it now. Direct download is much safer for countries like Germany.
