I'm my own enemy?

Ok so apparently my friends can't add me in friend list or invite me in groups because it says that i'm not part of alliance, i play as an ally but when people [also allys] try to invite me or add me it says that i'm not part of alliance, i even tried adding myself just to test, it should say "You can't add yourself to the list" but in my case "Friends must be part of alliance"
