I simply want to get rid of the extra box below my account name and pass for simple reasons, I disabled my in-game authentication but the box still appears on the login screen, is there a way to remove it? thanks.

I wouldn't recommend removing the feature. My personal preference is the mobile application, and not the email one. It is faster to use and doesn't take much time. Basically this is a great layer of security added to your account, especially when you've donated X amount of euros.
