Problem with Trial of the Naaru: Strenght hand in.

I have a problem where I have both quest items from the two heroics, Murmur's Essence and Kalithresh's Trident, in my bag but can't turn it in to A'dal. The questlog shows that it's complete, my questhelper shows it's complete but A'dal is being a douche and does not acknowledge my quest. Any suggestions?

I have tried: Reglogging, exiting game, /reload.

I don't want to abandon quest only to have it bugged and need to do it again..

EDIT: Quick fix, I put my items in the bank, /reloaded, took them out again and voíla, the quest is now completed. I dont know how and why but it's currently completed.

This usually happens because of cache issues. Most such quests can be abandoned and taken again without the items vanishing
