Well, it finally accepted my attempt to purchase $10 worth of coins. Hope it goes through to you guys properly.
Americans have the most success by using Subway gift cards to pay for a donation. You will have to do a bit of your own math regarding currency exchange. Currently €10 is equivalent to $12.33 USD.

Alternatively, you can swap the payment to mobile and choose amazon pay to have it donate directly in USD.
