Is there anyway to have both engineering rocket boots and the +speed buff without giving up the powerful dps meta gems? On my hunter, I enchant the rocket boots on my boots (of course) which means I can't get the Tuskarr's Vitality boot enchant. So I use the + speed meta gem instead, which means I can't take the + agility and crit damage meta gem.
Is this my only option? Seems like a high price for using rocket boots, though I like to use them anyway.
No. You need to sacrifice your boots enchant to get it and the only other source of movement speed is the meta socket.
Unless you have a +movespeed talent, like Pursuit of Justice, which does not stack with Tuskarr's anyways.
what do you mean high price, just use the relentless meta gem anyways.
Then I don't have the + minor speed buff. As a hunter, kiting to me is survival- I want every speed boost I can get, both rocket boots and the + minor speed. You can't get both if you use the relentless meta gem.Quote:
