If we could combine certain classes in one super class, like: ele shaman, destro lock and shadow priest and put that super class vs another one made up of Unholy dk, Ret pala, Arms warr, who would win in a 1v1 scenario? Would it even be possible to bind all those spells, not sure, but it would be a funny duel indeed.
Note: This would be the easiest mix up to make, cuse all 3 mdps use two handed wepon, and would use mana insteed of rage/runic power.
Assuming that both players are playing as efficiently as possible then the Melee should have a clear advantage. There would be too many gap closets and interrupts for a caster to get away from.
The biggest issue here is yes the number of gap closers/self buffs/escapes between combining all those melees but chiefly the fact that your 'super caster' will DR himself just trying to keep distance against them. No DR on gap closers or self dispels/buffs/defensives.
Melee would absolutely dominate by far. Ele and warlock have little to no defensive cds.
