No, but because of the nature of VPNs and IPs being reused you're risking being caught up in a ban wave with advertisers and everyone else utilizing them. Those bans can be appealed but if you need to use a VPN then I would look into one that isn't being heavily advertised to gamers.

ok do you have any recommendations on which ones to use? I currently use cyberghost and the first account I made on here was banned and it wouldn't let me appeal it for some strange reason. is there a certain location that is less likely to be hit by that ban wave?

You have to appeal sending an email to [email protected] on such cases, since the ban wasn't directed at your account, but at the IP used to try to connect.
