People are selling gold on warmane like craaaazy and i see it all the time
i report like 2 sellers a day and there is nooo difference whatsoever
are warmane doing something about it?
even if they are its useless and gold is becoming harder and more useless to make
you cant just reduce gold by 50% at irregular intervals and expect the economy to be golden (no pun intended)

If staff ban that toon from which sellers advertise, its minor inconvenience because there is no gold on that toon. They just make another account and carry on.
It's more ofa crowd control and chipping bit by bit away at sellers helps, i guess. But it can't solve it.
Squish is not intended to battle gold sellers. Because it actually helps them to get more gold and gold value increases, however overall effect is worth it imo. I just wish staff would find another method to achieve that result.
I think Warmane has pretty decent system for "legal" gold trade. Now that actually is major blow to black market sellers.
I too think it is annoying and would be cool if a GM would just ban them, but angrylol makes a good point, they can just easily make a new account or bot to spam and it's a waste of time for the GM who could be helping players with actual issues. So for now, they will continue to try to make an automated system that doesn't ban innocent players, but takes care of these spammers.
For now, just ignore/report spam them which automatically ignores them anyway, or add a filter addon or something because really it is just a minor annoyance and most people are probably not buying gold, (I hope, because there's the warmane store, and you can literally farm gold and sell for coins ourselves).
I think Warmane needs more GM's, At least lesser ranked once who can clear up some of the minor issues.
This "anti gold spam bot" gets avoided alot by /Yell or /say chatt.
Configure your chat so you don't read /yell or any channel such as general/trade. That fixes the problem.
