About the "Race Change" and "Faction Change"

In the account panel, there are 2 options for some of the same services like:

Race Change - 20 Points
Race Change - 20 Coins
Faction Change - 30 Points
Faction Change - 30 Coins
et cetra

How do they differ?

Right now, I would like to change my appearance, can I choose "Race Change" for 20 points and choose the same race and select new appearances? or can I choose "Character Rename" for 10 points? (They all say "the service will be done through the character selection screen in-game")

well, there are 2 options based on the currency; the feature is the same

no, you will not be able to change appearance with "Character Rename" feature

yes, you should be able to change appearance and keeping the same race by using "Race change" feature ( but not for TBC realm)

Thanks for the reply, I've also heard about the reputation bug after Race Change, how true is this?
