Planning ahead for my final raid spec, and wanted to know if most raiding Tankadins here go 10% more STR for BV, or +4% spelldmg mitigation plus 15% novespeed and 3% greater chance to be missed vy harmful spells.
Any reasoning behind your choice would be a plus, as well.
So I'm not going to post any in-depth guides and any math, I'll leave that for you to reasearch. There are plenty of guides online already discussing these things, so I'm just going to post some builds with some explanation if you would like to discuss them further I am open to debate.

Ofcourse you can have variations in these aswell, for example exchanging One-Hand Wepaon Spec to Reckoning but in my opinion Reckoning is only useful if you are a main tank and not a trash tank which rarely happens when there's a druid or warrior around.
You can also put less points into Anticipation and put them elsewhere since youm only need 491* Defense in any scenario anyway.
Spec'ing into BV is useless since it does not increase your survability or threat generation (unlike for warrior where BV increase dmg of your Shiled abilities). During trash tanking especially on MH it is much better to amass as much dodge and stamina as possible since its much better to dodge an entire strike than block and still recieve most of dmg.
*UI interface will show 489.5 as 490 defense, meaning you won't be immune to crushing hits
Worth commenting on parry hasting too, isn't it? As a reason not to spec Reckoning, even if you're main tanking. iirc Sunwell bosses don't parry haste but most others do, and it's a good way to get your face wrecked on a lot of fights.
As for OP's original question, agreeing that STR for BV is near-worthless, definitely grab the 4% less spell dam
