Help a nood out

Hi guys, im leveling a hunter on outland, currently level 62, i ran through vanilla with a boar and swapped it for a ravager in hellfire, i already had rank 1 gore from a wolf i tamed at the start, as i understand it as i level with the pet new ranks of gore will be learned, however ive gone through 2 levels and still havent had a new rank availible so its still using rank 1, i also was under the impression that a ravager learned bite, again this hasnt been learnt, am i doing somthing wrong?

do i need to visit the pet trainer?

You need to tame new pets with higher ranks. The spells do not level up on their own in TBC
