Whats happening to Icecrown right now?

I just logged in and i had no characters, had mini heart attack, quickly changed the password and tried to relog and they were all back, logged got instantly disconnected and server is offline since

There is a bug with Battered Hilt dropping over an over in Pits of Saron. Price went from 4-5k to 1k and there are so many battlered hilts they're literally worthless.
