Game only runs in background and does not completely launch

Hi,

Good day to all of you!

I was able to play yesterday just fine. Now, I tried to play again and launch the game and there was a pop-up saying :

Data/enGB/wow-update-enGB-18273.MPQ: World of Warcraft can’t make a required change to an archive file. Be sure you have write permission for the World of Warcraft folder or try running the game in administrator mode. For more information, see: https://battle.net/support/article/6910

I am not sure why this error occurred. It will just stay in the background visible through Task Manager.

What I did so far:
1. Run the game as an admin
2. Selective Start Up
3. Disabled Firewall

I tried and tried and tried but it keeps on happening.

I am using a laptop, windows 10. Hope this information helps.

Can some one help me fix this issue please?

follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"
