questions regarding prot paladin leveling (lvl 40+)

Hello everyone,

I just hit level 40 with my paladin and now I'm thinking about switching from ret to prot and would like to know, if it's worth it and how my talent tree should look at level. Also I'd like to know, if I need any specific gear to do prot pally leveling since I feel very undergeared for my current level because of the x5 rates (I need to heal up and drink for mana after every mob I kill). if you wish to level as prot, you'd be in need of some gear, as you benefit a lot from pulling a lot of mobs at once. it's probably safer to stay ret. If you're ally add 'hearthledger' i can maybe help you out with some gear.
