Transmogrification Faction items

Hello, wanted to know if someone has tried this transmog method..
Lets say i am Ally that want's to transmog "back" to look like "Drape of the Refreshing Winds" It's horde faction back.
Will i be available to do that?

If i change faction from ally to horde, then use transmog scroll, then change back to ally.. Will the back look like "Drape of the Refreshing Winds" or will it change the look to ally faction back named "Shawl of the Refreshing Winds" even after i already used the scroll on my back while being horde?
And do i actually need to be Horde to get that transmod to my back as Ally?
