is something going to be done about this item to prevent hackers / bot from taking all of it and sell it for 10 times its real price ( 1500 gold ) maybe make it unlimited edition or smthing

Yes, if you can prove that they are bots or hackers. Buying it does not require bots or hacking. Just timing and a custom addon. The real problem is that respawn time should be random but it isn't. Bug report: https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker/report/26613
