Crashing in char creation

Hi to all.
I downloaded the Wotlk client (with new char models) from your site since it has been many years since ive played WoW, to give it a bash again. Downloaded and installed fine. At first i had problems changing the resolution the first time i entered the game, it would crash constantly. Ive managed to get past that hurdle but now after logging in and choosing the realm, when i enter character creation it crashes after 2 or 3 seconds every time. It gives me the famous #132 error.

The memory could not be "read".

Ive googled quite a bit, changed from dx9 to dx11 in wtf file, added -opengl to target, all my system is updated. I have:

i5 6600k
16gb ram
gtx 960

If anyone could provide any help i would be very grateful. Ty in advance.

Wotlk didn't even have dx11, it was released way before dx11 was a thing, ignore that. If you're using -opengl, you can't use dx, like saying "I wen't to work by bus in my car"

New models have issues with some hair styles afaik, try old ones, they should work just fine.

Yes i know about opengl and dx, didnt try to "use the fix" at the same time, just fiddling about. Ill try to download the client with original models then and see if that works. Unless there is a pack to download only the old models.
