"Tome of Cabal" Warlock quest bugged for me?

Hey there,
I decided to go ahead and do the Tome of Cabal quest for my felhunter pet. The quest instructs you to get a "Tattered Manuscript" and "Moldy Tome" to summon a felhunter at the barren summoning circle. I got both required items but when I summon and kill the felhunter at the summoning circle my quest log is not updated and can't turn in the quest...

I thought abandoning the quest and trying to accept it again may fix the problem; I did that and now I can't find or accept the quest anymore.

If anyone has a solution it would be greatly appreciated!
