I have been trying to play on the Icecrown realm but it just seems impossible, today i waited in queue from 14:00-18:30 and even then I was only number 310 in queue. Is there any way to actually play on this realm?

Your only option to get access to the server is to either wait out the queue or donate any amount to get premium status to skip the queue.
