So, what will happen if I xmog some level 70 epic onto a hierloom item. Will it work? Is it even possible? If so, will a level 1 be able to equip it?

Its probably not possible to mog those items in the first place.
you can, but the item loses the xmog when you send it via mail. So it should be done on your alt.Quote:
