Warrior problems

Im a returning player on Lordaeron. Last time I was active in raids ICC wasnt released and VOA had like 2-3 bosses and never did the new one back then.

got 5.1k gs in prot mostly i245 stuff with i232 boots and weapon, trinket the brewfest stam ones but I also got onys trinket, icks rotting thumb and some other dodge ones. Nobody will inv me to a raid even if I meet their gs req when they see Im a warrior tank. They rather wait 2 hours LFMing. This is a big reason I gave up the first time I quit.

I also got a 4.8 dps set. 24exp, 4.5%hit ( yes I know its not 26 and 5%), 4.7kAP, 42% crit. 795arp. Very undergeared, a mix of i219 and a few i245 i226, weapons are sharpened obsidian i245 and tyranical beheader i232 http://armory.warmane.com/character/...daeron/summary . **** gear so still a **** chance to get a raid especially guildless, dont even know of any decent guild that needs a fury warrior.

Im trying to get back into it ( guildless tho so I try to pug) but it seems not worth trying to work for tanking upgrades. Most people dont like them. So if I try to upgrade my dps what items should I go for first and are easier to get? like I could farm EOTs ( got 142 now) ezpz with my tank form but exactly what to get? I might be able to sell something soon ( a bike and an azure dragon pet for maybe 20-22k) to buy some BOEs too. Im particularly worried about weapons. Dont have any ICC rep btw. I barely have EOFs, just like 15 cuz its hard to get without raids.

if I buy a battered hilt to I take the arp sword? with less high end dmg. I dont have much arp anyway. like 50%. is it more important to buy hellfrozen boots first?

Yeah, gear prot is hard. Even if u're fine enough to play it. Low gear without armor core items - paper, in case of even good gearing most of leaders will told u like "we need ppala, dk". But it's not impossible, i geared mine one like to 6k as tank ms without any donations, but with guild mates (not 6.5 carry, just another progression guild).
Eziest way to gear dps and than roll os tank. Yeah boots is good gear up. Farm agi boe neck during ring rep farms also in icc. Next way shadows edge quest from icc for wep. Also u don't have core hit cap (8%), i recomend to replace banner for eot trinq. Fwar spec pretty flexible, u can moove this talents to intensity rage and enrage. Or at least gear 5% and 3/3 precision. Don't focus on expertise for now, u can't cap it in your gear.
Wodin's neck-> Boe Boots -> vote points for back -> boe ring -> icc rep ring -> eot trinq -> farm shadows edge. But it is already smth like 5.4 and u're up for icc runs.

I got 4.5 Plus the talent so do I get anything else instead with EOT? wrynn i232 helmet but lose arp but get hit. wrynn i232 legs too also lose arp but get exp. also an i245 arp helmet nontier, i245 hit shoulder also nontier. i245 arp agi ring, i245 str hit ring. Do I get these?

do I still stack arp?

Doubt I will get to shadowedge q cuz it seems I have to get icc25 boss kills which I prolly wont be able to join. 25 saronites too ouch those cost me like 20k g . need alternatives here.

Yes it is. U should get 5% + 3/3 talent. Or smth in between. Now u have 4.5, u need 0.5% more. It is 1 yeallow gem.
But u can not hurry cause u will get extra hit from icc rep ring, and icc boe ring (ring of rotting sinew). Take boe agi neck (wodin), and it is 5k+ for sure.
That is enough for icc alt runs, voa runs.
Also u have low gs legs, replace it with Wrynn's Legplates of Conquest.
When i was gearing my war i also used eot trinq just for inspecting. And than even geared it after 5.5k gs for some time.
Do daily rdf, voa, weekly quest, alt runs for eof. When u have free time farm gold for crafted boe, like boots.
Just get rid of low neck, pvp back, and low legs and it should be fine to start icc.

Nice and useful stats for fury, 2 sockets to get more Arp, or hit/exp when needed.

Back when I geared up on fury (pre moltdown) I aimed to keep exp and hit close to cap as possible. Rest of the gear I went for whatever was useful. After reaching about 5.5K GS, I proceeded to give Arp more value, trying to focus on getting Arp items, but not ignoring good and big upgrades if they lacked arp.

In short what I did: Gear up, gem STR -> Passive Arp ~700 (50%) -> gem Arp -> Gear up some more.

Trophy of the crusade is used to buy items that have name ''Triumph'' next to them. You can buy those items at the entrance of Trial of the Crusade. They are all normal items that you buy with emblem of triumph just with + that trophy more. So they have better gear score and stats (I can't explain better sorry).

Also I have prot warrior 5562 gs and I can tell you that it is hard to level it indeed. You're going to do eof farm mostly to get better items, toc25 if you can find one that requires 5000-5100 gs (hopefully) and you can get good shield with points. The one that is dropping in Ulduar (it costs around 18 points i think). Aside from that, I could have reached better gs already, like 6k, I am invited to ICC raids but i do not know every tactic boss so It's same as being useless. And don't worry, people will pick you for raids even as prot warrior.

Cap is 8. Just add 1 hit gem. With current items. But u will also get it from rings, even overcap.
