Transmog by ItemID, could it come back?

Hey Blackrock!
What would you think about implementing Transmog by ItemID again, but with the older system or the new crossrealm system that was online for just a little while?
I think it would be cool if it just had some restrictions so that it cant be abused. So that artifacts cant be used and that cloth/leather cant be used by plate etc.

Since Icecrown can in a way get almost any item by doing PVE content for their transmog, while Blackrock can only get specific pieces from the Arena Transmog option.
I think this is on fair terms for the PVP only server to have a way to obtain such items aswell.
Atleast to some extent, even if the restrictions of ItemID would be high to prevent abuse, it still would be cool.
